My Story

For a lot of my life, I thought I might have an interest in photography.  I  had small point and shoot cameras that I took on trips, and I enjoyed capturing the memories.  But it was not until I was out of college and working a full time job did this passion really bloom.  I went to the same art festival for 3 years and there was this one photographer that took stunning landscape photographs.  He was my inspiration to save up and buy a Canon Elan 7 and a couple of lenses.  So I bought a Film SLR and my photography practically went nowhere.

In 2005, I had a conversation with my neighbor, and he asked me to come to a local high school and get photos of his kids playing sports.  I agreed, walked onto that first football field, into that first gym and had no clue what I was doing.  But I was completely hooked!!

One year later, I bought a Canon 30D and I was into the digital world.  Three months later, I was shooting at our local municipal stadium, shooting high school football, college football, and International Soccer.

I feel that God has blessed me with this opportunity and has constantly put me in the right places to meet the right people as my experience has grown.

I also have a passion for concerts and am getting into concert and other performing art photography.

Since beginning to explore photography, I have done a variety of events for a lot of clients.  This work includes fund raisers, parties, festivals and a lot more.

While photography is not full time for me, it is something that I truly enjoy.   Thank you for reading this and I look forward to working with you in the future.
